Finding Calm from Over-Thinking at Therapy With Rose

Over Thinking

Do you feel your mind is always busy? Do small worries grow big in your head? I can help. I work with people who have racing thoughts, doubt themselves, or feel stuck in the same thinking loop. My goal is to help you find calm, feel more sure of yourself and think in ways that help you.

About Me

I am Rose. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT126181) at Therapy With Rose. I make a kind and safe space for you to talk. I listen with my whole heart. I do not rush you. I help you learn about your thoughts and feelings gently.

How I Help

I use simple tools that you can use right away. I mix ideas from psychodynamic work and mindfulness. I look for where some thoughts come from. I teach ways to slow down and notice the present moment. I help you spot patterns and try small steps that can make a real change. I help you trust yourself more.

What To Expect

When I meet you, I will ask about your day and your worries. I will ask what you want to change. I will not judge. I will help you see how your mind works. I will show easy ways to calm your body and slow your thoughts. Each session will be warm and simple. You will leave with one or two clear steps to try before I see you again.

Tools I Use

I teach short practices you can use at home:

  • One-minute breathing exercises.
  • Grounding moves to bring you back to now.
  • Gentle questions to see thoughts clearly.
  • Small steps to break big worries into tiny tasks.
  • Ways to practice trusting your choices.

These tools are easy to learn. You can use them at school, work, or home.

Who Can Benefit

My work helps people who:

  • Think too much about what might go wrong.
  • Feel stuck by doubt or worry.
  • Get tired from too many thoughts.
  • Find it hard to sleep because the mind will not stop.
  • Need help making choices and trusting themselves.

You do not need to be broken to come. You only need the wish to feel a bit better.

Session Options

I offer in-person and virtual appointments. You can choose what feels safest and easiest. If you want a video, I can meet online. If you want to meet face-to-face, I welcome you kindly. I will help find a time that fits your life.

How Long Does It Take

Every person is different. Some people feel better after a few sessions. Others take more time. I move at your pace. I help you set small goals. I celebrate each step you take.

How To Start

If you want to try, send me a message or call. I will answer with clear info about times and fees. I will help you book your first session. You can tell me a little about what you want. You can also ask any questions before our first visit.

My Promise

I promise to listen and to be kind. I promise to use words you can understand. I promise to teach tools that are simple and real. I will walk with you, step by step.

Simple Practice to Try Now

Take a seat. Place your feet flat on the ground. Inhale for a count of four. Hold for two counts. Breathe out for six counts. Do this three times. Notice how your body feels. This can help slow the mind a little.

Final Note

If your mind feels loud and you want it to be quieter, you are not alone. I am here to help. I will help you find calm, trust and clearer thinking. If you want to start, I am ready when you are.
